About us
Clason Point Partners Inc. (CPP) is seeking a Material Handling Laborer for a government contract in Washington, DC. The Material Handing Laborer will be responsible for receiving and palletizing items, packing and unpacking shipments, stocking shelves, making pick-ups and deliveries, fulfilling local moving services, setting up furniture and staging equipment for conference center events, breaking down furniture and equipment for conference center events, conducting property inventories, completing accountability paperwork, fulfilling helpdesk tickets, and providing customer service.
Qualifications and Skills
Tw o (2) years of experience in a similar capacity within the laborer role.Experience and certificates to operate the types of equipment required for contract performance.
Fully trained in mail sorting, lifting, and moving techniques and have knowledge of the appropriate procedures and kinds of equipment needed to move specific items including the handling of equipment properly on dollies, pallet walkies, and forklifts to prevent damage or injury.
Heavy lifting is required.Must be literate and have the ability to communicate in English.
