Position Summary:
- This role will support The Client's Digital Data Capture workstream.
- This role works with the Senior Program Manager to support the Digital program and is responsible for driving coordinated execution to Focus on Data Analytics. This is a multi-year initiative that will deliver on The Client's strategic and financial objectives.
- The Business Project Manager must demonstrate strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities along with a strong track record of successful execution of projects in a retail environment. The ability to influence, advise, and manage a large number of cross-functional players across levels is critical.
Core job responsibilities:
- Partner with the Data Capture Workstream Lead(s), IT stakeholders, and vendor partner to identify and develop workstream project artifacts such as RACI, detailed project plan, deliverables, and milestones.
- Manage the execution of the scope according to the project plan through all phases including (but not limited to) planning, requirements gathering, UAT testing, and deployment verification.
- Provide timely and accurate communications to stakeholders, including partnering with IT and Digital program project managers to communicate overall status, health, and milestone tracking.
- Execute processes to manage risks, issues, change control, proper approvals, and gate controls.
- A strong understanding of analytical data management architectures, data integration processes, and QA/QC protocols for analytical data
- Good understanding of analytics and reporting, proven expertise in using Excel for data manipulation/reporting, and familiarity with dashboarding tools like Tableau, etc
Requirements for consideration:
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams to execute highly complex initiatives of significant scope, scale, and risk.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project, program, and change management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Enterprise thinker with the ability to 'connect the dots.'
- Results-oriented. Bias for action and execution.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to share ideas and information across diverse audiences to drive business decisions. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- High level of integrity and good judgment.
- Experience in hybrid (agile and waterfall) approaches within programs
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to change
- Expertise and experience with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Jira/Confluence.
