That tradition continues today by promoting excellence in everything that we do.Position Summary:We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our OB/GYN department at Urban Health Plan which is stationed at our El Nuevo San Juan Health Center in the Bronx, NY.
Minimum Qualifications:-Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
- NYS Registered Professional Nurse, required.
- All experience levels are welcome to apply, whether this is your first role as a nurse, or you are coming in as a seasoned nurse.
Key Duties:-Triage patients and assists patients with their needs based on acuity.-Reviews patient's health status and conditions.
- Provides quality nursing care and medication administration.
- Administers immunizations/vaccines to specified patients.
- Assists with prepping patients as needed and providing patient education.
- Assists providers during examinations and treatments.
- Implements standing orders.
- Checks equipment, logs, and medical kits.
Assists with ordering medical supplies, medications, and vaccines.
Starting Compensation: Minimum $81,000 Maximum $97,000/annum contingent on degree and experience level.
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:Onsite, Bronx, NY, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm/9:00am-6:00pm; Rotating Saturday shifts with a day off M-F OR Tuesday through Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm.
