IT Application Engineer- Oracle EBS

We are inviting applications for the role of IT Application Engineer - Oracle EBS for a remote position working Eastern Standard hours. The role includes maintenance, support, and custom application development. must be eligible to work in the U.S. is NOT available for this role. All candidates MUST reside in the United States.
Responsibilities:- Develop high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and adhere to high-quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers to align application engineering and solutions with business goals
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications
- Utilize analytical skills to dissect business needs and formulate comprehensive technical specifications
- Design and architect solutions focusing on availability, scalability, and global reach
- Estimate and plan the required effort for projects
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance where necessary
- Manage and/or provide guidance to other software engineers and support analysts
- Foster the application of Agile/SCRUM and/or iterative development
- Develop solutions using SQL/ PLSQL, Oracle Reports, Bi Publisher, OAF.
- Apply knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle EBS Financials, Oracle EBS Modules, Oracle SQL, Agile workflows, Core Java, Java, and Python
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Demonstrable proficiency in Oracle EBS, Oracle EBS Financials, and Oracle EBS Modules
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL is essential for this role
- Familiarity with Agile workflows is required
- Proficiency in Core Java, Java, and Python programming languages is a must
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT solutions in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Demonstrable experience in project management and application development methodologies.
