Your role and responsibilities
Manually maintain and repair all manufacturing or related process equipmentInstall / set, or relocate facility equipment
Troubleshoot and operate equipment as required
Analyze problems and take corrective action as required and provide processing expertise when needed
Perform periodic PM’s as required
Qualifications for the role- High School diploma or GED
- Technical education preferred
- 5 years experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferred
- Injection molding experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulic pneumatic
- Must have adequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
- Experience with robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) is preferred
- Wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Responsible for following every precaution and safety rules to protect oneself and fellow employees from bodily injury throughout the operations
- Report any injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices immediately to management
- Cooperate with others working as a team environment
- Demonstrate high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrate good judgment in using tools, equipment, etc. when non-standard situations arise
- Make effective use of work time
- Demonstrate creativity in recommending improvements in procedures
- Maintain clean work area at all times
- Perform other responsibilities as required by Team Leader and/or Supervisor
- Is fully supportive of plant loss prevention efforts, and supports 5S
- Makes suggestions and implements ideas to eliminate waste and continually improve processes
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
