Accounts Payable Specialist

This role is based in an office setting with flexible working hours and the option to work from home on specified days.

• Accurately input and review invoices as well as check requests to guarantee correct coding and appropriate documentation in financial systems.
• Manage supplier/vendor profiles to ensure up-to-date information.
• Execute weekly check, wire, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) runs to ensure timely payments.
• Address any discrepancies in account statements and other payment-related matters.
• Secure necessary approvals and signatures on checks and other payment documents.
• Work collaboratively with team members and external suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Handle daily manual payments from multiple bank accounts/companies.
• Manage a high volume of invoices for multiple companies.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from vendors and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by the management.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Account Coding
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Understanding of Accrual Accounting
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) operation
