Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Novel Technology Services is currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role will focus on representing clients who have suffered injuries due to accidents or negligence. The successful candidate will manage various aspects of personal injury litigation, from initial case assessment to trial preparation, while providing exceptional service and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate personal injury claims and determine appropriate legal strategies.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in a timely manner.
• Conduct thorough discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
• Represent clients in court hearings and trial proceedings.
• Maintain comprehensive case files and documentation throughout the litigation process.
• Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of case status and developments.
• Collaborate with medical experts, accident reconstructionists, and other professionals as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven track record of success in negotiation and litigation.
• Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate potential personal injury cases and provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and options.
• Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and compile medical records to support client claims.
• Prepare and draft demand letters, settlement proposals, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing parties to reach fair settlements for clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, accident reconstruction experts, and other specialists as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in personal injury law and relevant regulations.
• Assist in the development of case strategies to maximize client recovery.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in CA.
• 2+ years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation processes.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
