We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and account analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
• Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• years of accounting experience preferred, but recent graduates will be considered.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
