Job Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies.
• Review and update patient medical history to support provider assessments.
• Perform vitals, blood draws, injections, wound care, and assist with medical procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Manage front desk duties, including patient scheduling, medical record requests, check-in/check-out, referrals, and documentation.
• Accurately record patient data in the electronic medical record system.
• Process and communicate test results to patients based on provider instructions.
• Participate in patient outreach initiatives to improve engagement and care compliance.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or related certification.
• National or state-specific MA certification/registration is strongly preferred (required in applicable states).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
