Our client is a famous Museum in New York City that collects, exhibits, preserves, researches, and interprets art of the United States in the broadest global, historical and interdisciplinary contexts.

Job Description
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations and bargaining agreements and represent company in grievance hearings and arbitration
  • Manage effective relationships with union reps, fostering open communication
  • Collaborate with human resources and legal departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with legal requirements
  • Analyze labor relations data to identify areas for improvement; develop proactive strategies
  • Develop and deliver programs for managers and supervisors on effective labor law practices including union avoidance strategies and positive employee relations
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on best practices and risk management
