Job Description

Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations and bargaining agreements and represent company in grievance hearings and arbitration
Manage effective relationships with union reps, fostering open communication
Collaborate with human resources and legal departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with legal requirements
Analyze labor relations data to identify areas for improvement; develop proactive strategies
Develop and deliver programs for managers and supervisors on effective labor law practices including union avoidance strategies and positive employee relations
Provide expert advice to senior management on best practices and risk management

In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes
Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience working with both Unions and Non-Unions
