Job Description- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations and bargaining agreements and represent company in grievance hearings and arbitration
- Manage effective relationships with union reps, fostering open communication
- Collaborate with human resources and legal departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with legal requirements
- Analyze labor relations data to identify areas for improvement; develop proactive strategies
- Develop and deliver programs for managers and supervisors on effective labor law practices including union avoidance strategies and positive employee relations
- Provide expert advice to senior management on best practices and risk management
