What You’ll Do
As a Building Substitute Teacher at Veritas Prep, you will step into classrooms immediately to provide continuity in instruction and support for our middle school students.
You will also:
- Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects
- Foster a positive classroom environment that enhances student learning
- Utilize school-wide routines to ensure a smooth functioning of daily activities
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student performance and well-being
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills
- Establish meaningful relationships with students and their families
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in your teaching practices
Requirements
What You’ll Need- A strong belief in the potential of all students to achieve
- A desire for continuous improvement and growth as an educator
- Commitment to addressing racism and promoting equity in education
- Experience in a classroom setting (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree
- Current authorization to work in the United States prior to your start date
