Nursing Office Assistant

Overview:
The Nursing Office Assistant is responsible for resident’s medical files, dispersing resident’s information to referrals and contracting sources, perform Certified Medication Technician (CMT) duties as needed, relieving RN of clerical work and minor administrative and business details.
30 to 32 hours a week.- 2 evenings per week
- Monday and Wednesday: 3:00PM to 9:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Min: USD $21.00/Hr.
Max: USD $25.50/Hr.
Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.- Complete administrative tasks such as: maintain a filing system for all resident records, screen phone calls, route incoming mail and compose correspondence.
- Communicate in a professional manner with staff and residents/clients.
- Manage inventory of first aid and medical supplies.
- Schedule appointments, organize paperwork, gather other pertinent patient information and complete insurance verifications.
- Responsible for inputting health visit data into ARCHER.
- Assist RN in maintenance of client data into the state client information system.
- Perform all duties as a certified CMT.
- As CMT, using Arrow provided vehicle, transport clients as needed (appointments, pick up medications, etc.) and ensure driving safety guidelines are followed.
- Through Arrow, must go through and obtain Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certification.
- Attend training and meetings as required. • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
- May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required and at least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Must be CMT certified or be willing/able to obtain CMT certification, provided through Arrow, within 3 months from date of hire.
