In light of our recent successes, RTS Tactical is expanding and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Associate to join our team!

Who We Are Looking For

We are on the hunt for a skilled, detail-oriented, and reliable Manufacturing Associate to join our dynamic team, working hands-on on the production line to manufacture top-quality body armor and tactical gear. We are looking for someone with experience in the production and manufacturing environment, who is hard-working, dedicated, and has a strong work ethic.

The Manufacturing Associate will join our energetic and thriving Manufacturing Department. Work experience in manufacturing for the Military, Law Enforcement, or the Defense Industry is a strong preference. However, enthusiasm and the willingness to learn the industry speaks volumes!

We are especially eager to welcome former Military and Law Enforcement personnel to our team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate in steel production and manufacturing machinery.
  • Manufacture high-quality body armor using state-of-the-art materials and technologies.
  • Signal mechanical errors to the Production Manager.
  • Follow production and warehouse guidelines and specifications.
  • Ensure products meet all regulations and specifications.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Adhere to and follow all health and safety standards with a safety-oriented mindset.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Organize stocks and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately.
  • Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing and manufacturing procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with new manufacturing techniques and safety protocols.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in production and manufacturing, particularly in body armor or related fields (highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of power tools operation and safety.
  • Proficiency in hand tools operation and maintenance.
  • Forklift certification (preferred).
  • Experience in warehouse operations (preferred).
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Ability to comfortably work in an environment that involves discussions on firearms.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be able to work full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Ability to reliably commute to work location: Miami, FL, 33147.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

This position frequently requires the employee to walk and work outdoors. The employee must be physically fit to perform tasks that include lifting and moving heavy items. This role is based in a production / warehouse environment with moving mechanical parts and often loud noise.

The employee may occasionally be exposed to elements typical of a manufacturing setting and will be required to use personal protective equipment.

Pay Range:

$17+ per hour
