Bilingual Spanish Accounts Receivable Specialist

Your bilingual Spanish proficiency will be essential in effectively communicating with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts receivable process, including preparing, validating, and issuing invoices to clients accurately and on time.
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish to resolve billing inquiries, address payment discrepancies, and ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collections and minimize overdue balances.
• Reconcile accounts receivable balances to the general ledger, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment histories within the accounting system.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable performance, including aging analysis and collection trends.
• Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve accounts receivable operations.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory compliance standards in all financial activities.
• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in accounts receivable, accounting, or a related financial role.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable principles, processes, and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the integrity of financial records.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
• Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
