Responsibilities- Assemble aerospace components, subassemblies, and final assemblies with precision according to detailed blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Utilize a wide range of tools and equipment, including torque wrenches, calipers, and micrometers, to ensure precise assembly.
- Perform riveting, bonding, and sealing of aerospace components to meet stringent quality and safety standards.
- Ensure that all components meet industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and adhere to internal quality control procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of work-in-progress to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and resolve any issues promptly.
- Perform functional tests on completed assemblies, identifying and troubleshooting issues to ensure peak performance.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, quality control teams, and fellow assemblers to maintain high production efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and ensuring compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) control procedures.
