• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee product stewardship activities, including TSCA LVE filings, REACH compliance, and customer product stewardship responses.
• Ensure compliance with all major HSE legislation related to water, waste, air, and other environmental aspects.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Promote and provide input to the company’s sustainability initiatives.
• Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and jointly with Quality department develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of operations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSE activities and compliance.
• Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) related to HSE and develop programs to continuously improve KPIs.
