Our Account Managers are strategic partners to franchise organizations and regional facilities teams within existing accounts. You will collaborate directly with various stakeholders to understand their organization, identify their needs, and craft solutions to maximize budget and protect facility assets.
Retention and organic growth are the paramount objectives in this role, unlocking additional store locations for annual maintenance programs, project volume, and program renewals through excellent customer service. The Account Manager is the go-to point of contact for relaying ETAs, escalating actionable information from service calls, and sharing project proposals generated by our techs and estimators as needed.

They also manage the relationship ensuring our clients are satisfied and their expectations met.

Responsibilities
  • Client Retention: Foster strong, long-term partnerships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Client Support: Act as the main liaison between clients and Roofing Source by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates on project status(es) and progress.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure all projects meet align with clientele needs (timing, prioritization, etc.)
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening to client needs, generating effective solutions, and maintaining a positive relationship with all key stakeholders.
  • Resolutions: Quickly identify and address or escalate issues or concerns that arise during projects, client onboarding, etc.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather client feedback on Roofing Source services, project outcomes, budgetary needs, etc.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and client accounts effectively
  • 1+ year minimum experience in an AM or BD role
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence clients, as well as deliver presentations or conduct site visits
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Hubspot is a plus
  • Superfluous organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Occasional travel to trade shows (5 or less per year on average) or key client visits. This is not an on the road position, majority of time will be spent at HQ.

Compensation and Benefits

An Account Manager’s industry competitive salary varies depending on a candidate's professional experience. Most candidates receive a starting salary of $65,000-$70,000/year with up to a 15% performance bonus.

Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) for the first year are $70,000-$86,250. Candidates with previous experience selling roofing or facilities services in the trades may be eligible for a higher starting salary.
