Description:

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Capacity Management Senior Architects are responsible for masterfully carrying out daily schedule, template, guided schedule, and master schedule requests across the Physician Group Practice
  • They also drive and organize work of the Capacity Management team
  • Using industry standard best practices and successfully leveraging business tools, Capacity Management Associate Architects will engage with our section partners to accelerate access and productivity related improvements
  • Senior Architects are responsible for provider and departmental performance related to the changes and project work the Capacity Management team completes
  • Successfully meets Service Levels when resolving tickets
  • Recognized as a natural leader by the team, the Sr. Architect should be extremely dependable, demonstrate exemplary time management, and apply strong critical thinking skills to all work
  • Responsible for monitoring quality and coaching team members around best practices and communication with sections
  • Responsible for developing and delivering training sessions and materials for Patient Access and The Emory Clinic as a whole
  • Successfully serves as an Ambassador for Patient Access when meeting with section representatives to discuss and implement schedule changes
  • Effectively communicates with colleagues at all levels of the organization, including Patient Access team members, clinic staff, administrators, and physicians
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across Emory Healthcare
  • Organizes, designs, prioritizes, and coordinates the work of the Capacity Management team, ensuring that deadlines are consistently met
  • Designs and Leads projects internal to Capacity Management team, as well as with outside Section partners
  • Actively designs and leads process improvement projects to accelerate improvements in Appointment Lag and Appointment Utilization
  • Completion of special projects as assigned by department Leadership
  • Responsible for outcomes and metric performance around project work and productivity standards
  • Working as part of the Capacity Management team, the Sr. Architect masterfully completes Master, Template, Daily, and Guided Schedule build
  • Fulfills schedule requests quickly and accurately, consistently seeking opportunities to utilize best practice strategies and techniques to all schedules
  • Using the Impact Analysis, Architect provides sections with proactive guidance around schedule changes and design
  • Actively monitors key metrics and data at Enterprise and Section level, critically thinks through interventions, and engages with Section Leadership to hardwire improvements
  • Flexibility and adaptability are required in this position, as duties and responsibilities will vary from day to day
  • Associates must be able to work well in ambiguous environments and must be able to learn new processes and procedures quickly
  • This role proactively responds to multiple work queues simultaneously
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and a genuine excitement for the role, willingness to continuously improve, and open-mindedness

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of demonstrated successful experience in the Capacity Management associate Architect position
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years' experience in health care operations/project management/capacity management/informatics
