Our Client is a reputable General Contractor in Garden City, NY specializing in commercial projects in Nassau County and Suffolk County.

Job Description

The Construction Estimator in Garden City, NY will provide conceptual and detailed estimates of projects ranging from $10M to over $100M across Long Island.
Assist the Chief Estimator in preparing comprehensive conceptual estimates.
Oversee projects for municipal agencies and ensure compliance with regulations.
Conduct quantitative takeoffs and provide accurate pricing to support Lump Sum proposals.
Manage and coordinate project documents across various delivery methods.
Research and present up-to-date unit pricing data.
Prepare detailed clarifications and qualifications to accompany estimates.
Provide thorough backup documentation for estimate reviews and analyses.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.
4-7 years of professional experience in construction estimating.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional leadership abilities, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively.
