Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and ensure they are fresh and ready for use
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations consistently
- Assist in menu planning and suggest improvements to enhance food quality
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for food
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
