Description:

• We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our educational team for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, working with students in elementary, middle, and high school. Candidates must hold a valid South Carolina School Psychologist license and be NASP certified.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations for support services.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop strategies for addressing students' academic and behavioral challenges.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing emotional distress or behavioral issues.
• Offer individual and group counseling to students to address personal, social, and academic concerns.
• Analyze and interpret data related to student performance and mental health to inform decision-making and interventions.

Certification Requirements:

• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license.
• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).

Background Check:

• Completion of a background check and clearance to work with children is mandatory.
