Position Summary:
Performs scheduling duties which includes scheduling appointments for exams, gives appropriate prep instructions, directions as to where patient needs to arrive for exam, answers all phone calls in courteous and efficient manner, obtains all appropriate patient information required for exam.Provides services in a manner consistent with TCMC’s mission, values and strategic plan.

- Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.
- Scheduling appointments for exams, gives appropriate preparation instructions
- Gives directions as to where patient needs to arrive for exam
- Answers all phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
- Identifies exams that need to be done on a priority basis and schedules them as such
- Calls patients to confirm appointment times
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience scheduling appointments in a medical clinic environment, required. May consider 1 year Radiology experience in lieu of scheduling experience.
- Must be able to communicate in written and oral form.
- Must be able to read documents containing medical terminology, etc.
Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Salary/Hourly Wage range based on experience.
