We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity to support a benefits project in the Downtown Manhattan area. As a crucial part of our team, this role involves managing and streamlining our benefits processes, training third-party administrators, and ensuring the accuracy of our benefits programs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the go-to person for all employee benefits queries, providing accurate and timely responses.
- Handle the manual file deliverables associated with all benefits schemes relating to payroll.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all routine Benefits processes.
- Regularly perform audits to ensure benefits accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements in the benefits area to enhance efficiency.
- Train external administrators to manage benefits administration tasks and audits.
- Use systems such as Scribe for creating detailed process documentation.
- Leverage your auditing skills to autonomously pull reports and use these for auditing purposes.
- Use your expertise in US benefits to streamline and improve our current processes.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, proactively collaborating with team members.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in auditing and benefits analysis.
- Strong knowledge of benefit functions and claim administration.
- Experience with COBRA administration.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to develop competitive benefits packages.
- Understanding of EOB - Explanation of Benefits.
- Familiarity with UKG Pro and UKG Ready software.
- Ability to interpret and apply knowledge of competitive benefits.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record in maintaining high level of confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
