Director of Graduate Admissions (INTERNAL ONLY)

Pay Range: USD $68,000.00 - USD $77,000.00 /Yr.

Overview:

The Director of Graduate Admissions will lead and manage graduate recruitment, with a focus on domestic recruiting, working closely with the Dean of the Graduate School, VP for Enrollment and Student Advancement, the Senior Director of International Admissions, the Senior Director of Data & Enrollment Services, and the Graduate Partnership Manager.

The incumbent will develop strategic goals and operational plans and will lead the graduate recruiting team to achieve the university’s graduate and professional student enrollment objectives. These include: meeting with prospective students in person and online, attending graduate and professional education fairs, visiting feeder universities, conducting webinars, meeting with academic departments, and identifying new pipelines and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a multi-year strategy to increase the graduate student body, including research on relevant pipelines and partners.
  • Create an annual recruitment plan, schedule, and revenuebudget projections.
  • Assist in graduate student headcount and revenue projections.
  • Track student demographic information, quality indicators, geography, and other factors that help in shaping and adjusting the recruitment strategy.
  • Participate in and recruiting events.
  • Collect and assess student feedback to improve recruitment strategy and plans.
  • Work closely with the marketing and international recruiting teams to create effective marketing campaigns, including digital marketing and social media.
  • Provide training and support to the recruiting team and other campus stakeholders related to recruitment and admissions.
  • Effectively use data-driven insights and analysis tools to regularly assess recruitment strategies, setting and adjusting priorities based on performance metrics.
  • Implement CRM systems and data tools to enhance applicant tracking, communication, and yield to ensure that the admissions process is effective in converting applicants.
  • Benchmark against competitor institutions to stay informed of best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches in graduate admissions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Minimal Education: Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Higher Education, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimal Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in higher education admissions or related professional fields.
  • A commitment to professional development, equal opportunity, and diversity.
  • Successful track record in implementing and leveraging CRM platforms and other technology tools to streamline the admissions process, enhance communication with prospective students, and improve conversion rates.
Preferred Experience:
