POSITION SUMMARY

The CBRNE Technician will work at client locations in Washington, DC. The Technician will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CBRN equipment. Note: this role is an overnight shift starting at 10pm ending at 6am.

Essential Functions Statements
  • Maintain customer instrumentation between 10pm-6am Monday through Friday onsite
  • Performs a variety of analytical and technical support work.
  • Ability to diagnose complex equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, effectively implement solutions and/or communicate instructions to end-users.
  • Implement and update processes to analyze known and unknown substances.
  • Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
  • Maintain day-to-day office operations and communications
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training and on-line meetings
  • Service products through an established repair and reporting process
  • Field and resolve customer questions and issues via phone, e-mail, or trouble ticket entry
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction within an established ISO 9001:2008 system

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanics, and spectroscopy is preferred
  • Experience with the full MS Office suite
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics and be able to work independently
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, enough agility to navigate over 3-4 foot walls, climb ladder
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associates Degree, or higher, in a science or engineering field required
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
