Overview:

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network architectures that meet business requirements and support growth.
  • Configure and install network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement network protocols and standards.
  • Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and resolve them efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades and configuration changes.
  • Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures to protect against threats.
  • Configure firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Network Optimization: Optimize network performance and capacity to meet growing demands.
  • Implement load balancing and traffic management strategies.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model), routing, switching, and network security.
  • Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Experience with network design and implementation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network problems.
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
