Infrastructure Support Engineer

Olivia Quinlan from Robert Half is hiring for IT Engineer in the Syracuse, New York area.

Responsibilities:

• Offer Tier III level support to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory and Exchange for efficient data management.
• Handle Layer 3 Network Switching to optimize network performance.
• Manage Microsoft Servers to ensure reliable server operations.
• Apply Cyber Security-related certifications to ensure data protection.
• Utilize Network+, CCNA, or equivalent skills for optimal network management.
• Leverage knowledge of Office 365 for effective office management.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and remediate hardware/systems related issues.

Knowledge of cyber security best practices and industry-standard tools

Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy

Exchange (both 365 and On Prem)

Layer 3 network Switching

Configuration of routers, IPSec Tunnels, and VPN

Microsoft Server configuration and maintenance

Windows desktop imaging, configuration, and support

Network+, CCNA or equivalent.

Experience programming in PowerShell or C#

Virtual Server configuration with Hyper-V

Cloud infrastructure and connectivity

Phone system configuration and maintenance
