Sr Lease Admin Analyst

The Lease Administrator is responsible for managing lease-related activities and ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and effective communication with clients and landlords. This role involves financial analysis, reporting, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and organization.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Review and manage mailbox communications.
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to email inquiries.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and deliver monthly reporting, including data extractions and Statements of Accounts.
Core Responsibilities:
- Resolve critical client issues by researching payment transactions, lease terms, and other related information.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and landlords.
- Act as a team lead, offering workflow direction and account supervision.
- Ensure data integrity by reviewing and maintaining the quality of team outputs.
- Prepare and edit lease abstracts for accuracy.
- Provide analysis and insights through monthly variance reports.
- Track and manage payables and receivables associated with portfolio leases.
- Process client rent rolls, subtenant invoices, and reconcile subtenant accounts.
- Review and validate incoming invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
- Manage a national parking program, including database maintenance, invoice processing, and reporting.
- Generate and distribute periodic and ad hoc reports using tools like Excel, Word, and Access.
- Conduct annual operating expense reconciliations and monitor lease audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client lease files.
- Assist with transitioning new accounts to ensure efficient setup and operations.
- Provide technical guidance and informal training to coworkers.
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least four years of relevant experience, preferably in property management or accounting.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with lease administration software like CoStar.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Knowledge of ASC 842 Lease Accounting Standards is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Capable of working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in accounting, administration, or property management is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Ability to provide timely, courteous, and reliable service to clients.
