Salary: Starting at $15 / hour - depending on experience / education
Job Summary:
Assists the educational program by performing complex data entry, maintaining records for staff attendance and trainings, and performing varied secretarial and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and updates annual staff training database.
- Maintains and updates staff attendance database using Kronos.
- Responsible for creating and sending IEP invitations using IEP Writer.
- Assists with preparation of report cards and progress monitoring using IEP Writer.
- Tracks and maintains data base for PASA and PSSA.
- Assists in preparation of PIMS data.
- Gathers required information for PA Academic license application, as well as applications for other states and ensures packet is complete prior to submission.
- Tracks CareLogic reports for completion.
- Submits student attendance records to requesting school districts.
- Performs receptionist and secretarial duties as needed including coverage for the front office.
- Assists building principal with special projects and events.
- Gathers and inputs data from ODR’s into SWBPIS database.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma plus five years minimum related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of computers and be literate in Access, Excel, and Word.
- Must have the ability to perform complex administrative duties.
- Demonstrate ability to carry out instructions from both written and verbal sources.
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Position requires excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
- Position requires initiative, independent judgment, and proficiency of all duties while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- PA Act 114 & FBI Background Clearances are required.
