Hours:
- Per Week: 40
- Per Day: 8
- Days Per Week: 5
Schedule Notes:
- At least 1 year of experience in the role
- Monday-Friday & Saturdays, rotating hours required
- 3 shifts available:
- 8 am to 4 pm
- 9 am to 5 pm
- 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
- 35 hours per week
- In-person interviews preferred
Duties:
- Assist in providing dental services, including preparing patients for exams/treatment
- Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment
- Mix amalgams, cements, composites
- Take dental x-rays and maintain records
- Perform assigned lab procedures
Skills: 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or its equivalent, with at least 600 instructional hours at an approved Dental Assistant school
- High School diploma or its equivalent, with at least 300 instructional hours at an approved Dental Assistant school plus six months full-time satisfactory experience in the role
- High School diploma or its equivalent plus one year of full-time satisfactory experience in the role
- A satisfactory combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements
- Experience as a receptionist or clerk in a dentist's office is not acceptable
