Hours: 40
Shift: Flexible shifts & hours. Weekend, holiday rotation. Requires driving between hospitals & office.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician, Office Manager, or designee, perform comprehensive physical exams and obtain medical history in the hospital and office setting, perform pre and post-operative procedures, assist with diagnostic procedures including ICP monitoring.
  • As directed by individually assigned physician, perform hospital rounds including assessment of patient progress, medical management and oversight of the patients plan of care.
  • Accompany attending Neurosurgeon during operative procedures to provide medical services as delineated by hospital privileges, and in accordance with state licensure, certification(s).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field required. Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
  • One year experience required.
  • Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
  • PA preferred
  • NP must have RNFA certification upon hire
