A growing client is working with Robert Half to hire a standalone Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily strategic operations of the human resources department. How you will make an impact
  • Generate recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
  • Study compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
  • Put in place management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Supervise all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
  • Attend interdepartmental meetings with other managers
  • Lead human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Running and planning employee trainings and managing the overall scope of workforce planning and development
  • Analyze reports provided by management team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
  • Oversee exit interviews and procedures
  • Maintain and deploy applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
  • Grow the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
  • Manage the day to day functions of the employee benefits process
Candidates applying to this role should have at least 5 years of standalone Human Resources Management experience out of small to mid sized companies, preferably coming out of professional services. This person should be heavy in the strategic side of human resources specifically in employee training, coaching and development, workforce planning, planning and implementing SOPs, and heavy employee relations.
