Litigation Associate Attorney

As an Associate Attorney, your primary focus will be on civil litigation in the general liability and casualty defense practice group.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cases proactively from inception to conclusion in both state and federal courts
• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions with precision and attention to detail
• Foster frequent and effective communication with clients
• Collaborate with expert witnesses and coordinate their contributions to cases
• Attend and actively participate in depositions, court hearings, and mediations
• Prepare for and attend trials, ensuring all necessary materials and resources are readily available
• Maintain a strong work ethic, ability to self-manage and work harmoniously in a team environment
• Display strong research abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Deliver exceptional client service and contribute to the continued satisfaction of our clients.
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active status and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• 4+ years litigation experience in both state and federal courts
• Deposition, court hearing, and mediation attendance
• Trial preparation and attendance
• Strong research and writing skills
