About the Role:
As an Imaging Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Imaging Department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and registering patients: Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients and their families.
- Collecting and verifying patient information: Ensuring accurate and complete data entry for medical records.
- Scheduling appointments: Coordinating patient appointments with radiologists and technicians.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality: Adhering to strict HIPAA regulations and maintaining the privacy of all patient information.
- Managing patient flow: Assisting with patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Answering phones and emails: Providing prompt and courteous communication to patients and colleagues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment: Ensuring a safe and efficient workspace for all staff.
Qualifications:
- One year of related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
