Job Description

In this role you will report directly into the Electrical Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Define Electrical and Controls Engineering specifications for high-temperature vacuum furnaces
  • Assess equipment specifications and performance criteria to minimize costs and technical risks
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, create bills of materials, and modify designs as needed, while also preparing manuals and documenting test results
  • Conceptualize, design, and program electrical equipment and control configurations
  • Generate detailed drawings, schematics, and configure PLC and HMI code
  • Finalize "as built" documentation, including drawings and schematics

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of automation experience
  • PLC and HMI testing and configuration experience
  • Controls troubleshooting knowledge
  • Vacuum, furnace, pressure vessel, ASME, or heat treating experience preferred
