Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a client in the Covington, GA area that is looking to add an experienced and results-driven Human Resources Manager to their team. The Human Resources Manager will support the HR operations for an organization of approximately 400 employees across multiple states.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and practices in compliance with labor laws while supporting organizational growth and a positive workplace culture. This role reports directly to senior leadership and requires a high level of professionalism, autonomy, and exceptional communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations- Manage and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on workplace conflicts, performance management, and company policies.
- Oversee HR operational functions for a workforce of approximately 400 employees across multiple states.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including employee classification, equal employment opportunity laws, and wage and hour regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution.
- Leverage ADP Workforce Now (ADPWFN) to manage payroll, benefits, time tracking, and other HR functions efficiently.
- Implement effective hiring processes to attract diverse, top-tier talent that aligns with the company’s culture and organizational goals.
- Support strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
- Supervise and mentor a small HR team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives and provide insights into workforce trends.
- Develop and maintain HR compliance best practices to minimize organizational risks.
- Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports and present findings to leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive HR experience managing a multi-state workforce.
- Proficiency using ADP Workforce Now (ADPWFN) or a similar HR technology platform is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, employee relations, and team management.
