Job Title: UI/UX DeveloperLocation: ASSYST Inc. - Sterling, VA
Job Type: Full time (W2)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Design and evaluate visual interfaces utilizing user-centered design principles and interaction of web-based business applications
- Develop responsive websites that are highly user interactive with HTML5 and latest design methodologies
- Responsible for developing & evolving UI UX for complex real-world Web Applications in a dynamic environment
- Implement user interface designs and interactions using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Visualize & Create great user experiences
- Implement great UXs using latest UI technologies
Required Experience, Education & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering
- 4-6 years of experience in web design and front end development using HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java Scripts and jQuery
- Experience working with ReactJS / VueJS / Angular / JSP /others
- Strong design skills in CSS, javascript using frameworks like React and html
- Experience interfacing with Rest API's, JSON
- Deep knowledge to create standards-compliant, cross-browser, mobile compatible front-end code with responsive design
- Strong UX design skills a huge plus
- Deep knowledge of front-end performance optimization
- Good UI / UX problem-solving skills
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Comfortable working with Photoshop / Illustrator if needed
- Should be a self-starter who is excited to relentlessly solve many technical challenges
