Job Title: Cardiac Monitor Technician

Duties:

• Observe, analyze, and document cardiac rhythms for patients on telemetry.
• Recognize and report abnormalities in waveforms or vital signs to the appropriate staff.
• Ensure proper setup and lead placement for cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Utilize medical terminology and understanding of cardiac physiology to deliver accurate reports.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and efficient patient monitoring environment.

Skills Required:

• Acute care experience, including vital signs monitoring (minimum 1 year).
• Expertise in interpreting EKGs and telemetry rhythms.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA BLS certification mandatory.
• EKG certification required.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,300 - $1,550
