2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance & Repair Mechanic to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure the efficient operation of a manufacturing facility. - High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience in a fast-paced industrial setting (experience in extrusion or injection molding is a plus).
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency with power tools and mechanical systems.
- strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic/electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

education: High School
Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Remove/install machine components, troubleshoot equipment issues, and repair malfunctions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments like Process Technicians and Operators.
- Fabrication: Design and fabricate machine components or fixtures when necessary.
- Recordkeeping: Document machine malfunctions and maintenance adjustments.
- Testing and Adjustments: Conduct tests to ensure equipment is operating safely and within quality standards.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and recommend changes to the maintenance schedule.
- General Maintenance: Also help with building and grounds equipment repairs as needed.
