Internship Overview

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Marketing Team! The Marketing Specialist Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study.

Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Internship Projects and Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Content Diversification Strategy
  • Research and propose new content formats (videos, info-graphics, podcasts, etc.) to diversify the brand's content offerings.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to create and implement new content formats, ensuring they resonate with the target audience.
  • Track engagement metrics for the new content formats and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Support Marketing team on project gate reviews with SVP/GM and CEO.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to propose future digital marketing initiatives and strategies
  • Review brand voice and positioning for each commercial brand and produce verbiage for blogs/case studies/website use
  • Market Research and Audience Segmentation
  • Conduct market research to identify new target audience segments or niche markets that align with the brand's products.
  • Propose tailored marketing approaches to effectively reach and engage each identified audience segment.
  • Create detailed audience personas for these segments, including their preferences, pain points, and behaviors.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Generate regular reports on key marketing metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, social media engagement, and email campaign performance.
  • Identify trends and patterns in the data and provide insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Present findings to the marketing team and suggest actionable recommendations based on the data analysis.
  • 2025 Strategy Plan
  • Support Manager and GM on data gathering and analytics for 2025 strategy plan, which may include economic indicators, market trends, emerging technologies or tactics, competitive analysis / SWOT
  • Work with team on digital strategy roadmaps and what the future of digital marketing looks like
  • Attend the strategy plan meeting and share insights based on above research.
  • Work with Marketing Manager to translate into action plan and inputs.

Requirements:

  • Previous internship experience in relevant function
  • Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Junior level
  • Strong writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, yet ability to see the big picture
  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
