Position: Front Desk Receptionist (aka Bartender)
As a Bartender at Drybar, you’ll be at the heart of our client experience, ensuring everyone leaves with a smile and fabulous hair. Your role will be dynamic and engaging, with plenty of opportunities to shine.
Your Areas of Responsibility:
- Client Experience Guru: Lead clients through their Drybar journey from check-in to check-out, ensuring top-notch service.
- Shop Flow Master: Keep things running smoothly by checking clients in and out, assigning them to Stylists, and delegating tasks.
- Retail Aficionado: Maintain the pristine appearance of our retail displays, ensuring everything looks fabulous.
- Atmosphere Creator: Engage with clients and team members to create a lively, bar-like atmosphere.
- Cash Handling Pro: Manage transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Training Champion: Educate new Bartenders on everything they need to know, setting them up for success from day one.
- Sales Reporter: Track and report daily sales results to keep us on top of our game.
- Communication Extraordinaire: Liaise with off-site receptionists to ensure smooth communication and operations.
Location Flexibility:
You must be able to float between our three locations:
- River North: 755 N Wells St.
- Lincoln Park: 1611 N Sheffield Ave
- W Hotel:172 W Adams St.
Work Environment:

Schedule:
- Lincoln Park: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with rotating opening shifts from 7am to 3pm and closing shifts from 11am to 7pm.
- W Hotel: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:15 AM to 3 PM, with some weekend availability.
Wage:
Earn a solid $16.20 per hour, plus commission! The more fabulous experiences you help create, the more you can earn. It’s a win-win!
