Attorney/Lawyer

This role will involve providing strategic legal guidance to support business objectives while managing risk effectively.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, supplier contracts, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (Source: Legal SG25 US Legal.docx – context: legal jobs, skills gaps).
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide legal support on matters related to corporate governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and operations, to drive business transactions and ensure contract terms align with organizational goals.
• Monitor and update the company’s standard contract templates to maintain compliance with evolving legal standards and best practices.
• Stay informed about changing laws and industry trends that affect corporate contracts and advise on their potential impact.
• Assist with other corporate legal matters as needed, including mergers and acquisitions, employment issues, and IP matters.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar license.
• 3-7+ years of legal experience, with a focus on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (Source: Legal SG25 US Legal.docx).
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including contract law, corporate governance, and compliance standards- healthcare experience a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal terms in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
