Machine Operator/Laborer (3rd Shift)

Synerfac is seeking a Machine Operator/Laborer for our client in Newport News, VA. Our client is a leader in custom precision sheetmetal manufacturing on the East Coast.
Duties Include:- Use CNC or manual machines to punch, shear, or bend flat bar or sheet metal;
- Use CNC machine or hand tools to insert hardware;
- Set up, clean and maintain tooling;
- Check parts produced for dimensional accuracy;
- Produce the maximum number of parts in minimum time by working efficiently;
- Material handling, using forklift and pallet jack, and by hand, preparing work area for next job;
- Count and stack finished parts;
- Deburr parts;
- Monitor quality during production;
- Maintain equipment & troubleshooting malfunctions;
- Other tasks as required;
- Follow company procedures and safety rules.
