Registered Nurse
This will be an on-site position working three (3) 12.5-hour shifts per week during the night shift from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. The pay rate for this position is $64.00 per hour. Registered Nurse Work Activities will include: -Guiding, Directing and Motivating Subordinates:-Supervise the application of nursing techniques required in the care and treatment of patients.-Advise subordinate staff in policies and procedures.-Observe employees as they perform tasks to ensure efficiency in work activities.-Identify exceptional performance characteristics through employee discussions and personal observations.-Discuss methods to improve performance and motivate employees by discussing employee performance.-Resolve disputes among employees following organizational policies and procedures.-Implement corrective measures to staff for inappropriate actions through discussions, written warnings, and recommendations for suspension or termination.-Assisting and Caring for Others:-Provide nursing care and procedures according to physicians' orders and nursing protocol.-Administer medication according to the physician's orders and protocol.-Evaluate possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication.-Perform BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and other emergency responses.-Participate in emergency response setting.-Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work:-Prioritize tasks based on importance, urgency, and other scheduled activities.-Performing Administrative Activities:-Review records to ensure accuracy and completeness.-Prepare written work schedules.-Interview prospective employees to gather information about their work history, training, and education.-Ask questions to assess applicant's ability to meet job requirements.-Select applicants to recommend for hiring.-Interpreting the Meaning of Information for Others:-Evaluate nursing plan of care and adjust as needed.-Train and Teaching Others:-Identify training needs of employees and instruction detailing procedures, policies, and/or regulations pertaining to a specified area of nursing care operations.-Scheduling Work and Activities:-Assign staff to work plans and activities by comparing the patient needs with the staff's availability, experience, independence, and training.-Documenting/Recording Information:-Count and track drugs, instruments, and other accountable items.-Record all nursing care in patient files and maintain file systems.-Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material:-May maintain health care equipment, supplies, and inventory.

This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.-Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to assess and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive healthcare measures.-Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
