Sibling Respite Provider - J
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and patient individual to provide respite care for two very active siblings. The siblings require supervision and support to ensure their safety and well-being while navigating their relationship, as they currently struggle to get along.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can handle a fast-paced environment, maintain calm and control during challenging situations, and provide positive guidance to the children.

Schedule: 6 Hours per Week - Leaning on Weekends and Afterschool care
***Flexible Schedule to be Planned in Advance Between Caregiver and Managing Party
Pay: $18.80/Hour
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with the siblings during their time together, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Facilitate activities that promote positive interaction and minimize conflicts between the siblings.Maintain control and de-escalate situations if disputes arise, using appropriate strategies to ensure safety for all parties.
Ensure the siblings' physical and emotional well-being, offering reassurance and encouragement when needed.
Implement strategies to encourage cooperative behavior and healthy communication between the children.
Provide updates and feedback to the family on the childrens progress, behavior, and any incidents that occurred during the shift.
Assist with light household duties if needed, such as meal preparation or tidying up after activities.
Qualifications: Previous experience in childcare, respite care, or working with children with behavioral challenges is preferred.
Ability to manage high-energy environments and diffuse conflicts in a calm, effective manner.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop and maintain trust with the children and their family.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
A caring and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
Physical Requirements:Ability to actively engage with children, including running, playing, and ensuring their safety during physical activities.
Ability to respond quickly to any safety concerns or emergencies.
Ability to pass a caregiver/criminal background check.
