Container Security Engineer

Position: Container Security Engineer Duration: 1 Year Remote Description: The purpose of this project to expand coverage in client's Container environment by accelerating creation and deployment of security baselines, adopting native Cloud security technologies, and developing and enhancing processes to reduce risk.
Scope of Services: Kubernetes/Container engineering support DevOps and code development Analysis of container vulnerabilities Penetration testing exercises Data Engineering support Deliverables: Engineering support for various Kubernetes and Container security tools (including Sysdig, Prisma, Wiz) Support for various container platforms, including K8, OpenShift, EKS, GKE, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provides operations and engineering support for container security, vulnerability/penetration assessment/mitigation, and security event management. Design, implement, and manage security measures for containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters.
In depth understanding of container security concepts (securing container images, runtime env, access controls, secret management etc Hands-on experience with container security tools Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certifications preferred.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their container services Conduct security assessments and penetration exercises for containerized environment. QUALIFICATIONS Hands-on experience with container security tools and technologies Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certifications are preferred Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their respective container services Proven ability to conduct security assessments and penetration tests for containerized environments.
