- Weekend Hours: every other weekend or to meet the needs of the facility
- Call Requirements: no on call
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCRN preferred
- Years of Experience: minimum 1.5 years
- Float Requirements: per scheduled rotation
- Additional Notes:
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 8
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 with occasional 1:1
- Equipment: Impella, IABP, CRRT
- EHR: Cerner
- Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult/Geriatric
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year CVICU experience (after orientation complete)
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: CVICU experience
- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids
- Personality Fit: strong critical thinking skills
- Required Education:Assoicate Nursing Degree
