IT Support Specialist This position will provide daily support of all users and devices including, but not limited to desktops, laptops, servers, tablets and smartphones. This position may administer, install or overhaul switches, firewalls, routers, telephone systems, internet services, collaborations all services, fax services and security services.
This position will monitor the health of systems by providing thorough reviews of monitoring logs, application and security logs, archiving of data and purging of data. The position will ensure system optimization by making recommendations to improve or enhance performance, anticipating future needs, ensuring compliance with software license and practicing proper backup and recovery methods.
Interaction with users (employees, customers, guests) requires strong inter-personal communication and self-discipline skills, including conflict management and time management. Complies and conducts business in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.Promotes ethical behavior by acting with honesty and integrity. Perform ad-hoc projects to fulfill business needs. Perform other duties as required. This position may require evening, weekend and holiday hours.
