The Role
PRA is seeking an experienced, detail oriented administrative professional who is looking for a fast-paced work environment, possesses a genuine interest in clinical research, is an effective communicator and has prior experience working with healthcare professionals.This is a full-time position and will provide daily support to our patients and clinical operations team. This position is in charge of managing the patient schedule, ensuring the site's daily schedule is running efficiently, making patient phone calls, and managing patient compliance with the clinical trial requirements.
Position Type: Full Time w/full benefitsPay Range: $18.00-22.00/hr
Location: Rolling Hills Estates (no remote work)
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Directs office activities, scheduling/rescheduling, and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Answers and monitors main phone, emails, mail distribution, and fax requests for medical records.
- Assists clinical staff with tasks such as data entry, patient payment, and query resolution.
- Schedules and maintains patient follow up regarding scheduling visits, safety calls and e-diary compliance.
- Assists and works closely with clerical and support staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required.
- Prepares for scheduled patient visits and maintains site database/documentation for trial participants.
- Maintains office supplies inventory.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least two years of administrative/clerical experience required.
- Healthcare Background: Prior experience working within a healthcare setting preferred.
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization & Detail: Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Task Prioritization: Capable of prioritizing tasks and seeking assistance when needed.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with standard business equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
