Legal Assistant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri, in the legal industry. As a Legal Assistant, your primary role will be to assist attorneys in all aspects of case management, alongside conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and managing client communication and appointments.

• Assisting in the management of cases through the efficient use of Case Management Software
• Drafting and preparing legal documents in a timely manner
• Conducting comprehensive legal research to assist attorneys
• Handling client communication effectively, ensuring all client relations are maintained to a high standard
• Managing and maintaining attorneys' calendars and appointments
• Undertaking various administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations
• Using your communication skills to ensure information is passed on accurately and efficiently. • Entry-level position, no prior experience required but experience as a Legal Assistant is desirable
• Proficiency in using Case Management Software to organize, track, and manage cases
• Ability to manage calendars effectively, including setting appointments, scheduling meetings, and coordinating schedules
• Strong client relations skills with the ability to professionally interact with clients and maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for communicating with clients, attorneys, and court personnel
• Demonstrated ability to assist attorneys in case preparation, including conducting legal research and preparing legal documents
• Knowledge and experience in legal research techniques and the use of various legal research databases
• Experience in drafting legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda
